My Story
I am Andrea Evans, Director of Team Dream Builders, and I started my journey with Scentsy in February 2009. I have been married for 17 years to my husband, Brad and I am a work-from-home mother to our two girls, ages 8 and 12. I am also an animal-loving country girl that loves to sing. My favorite place to visit is the beach.
My Scentsy journey began when I was searching for something to do while on maternity leave with our first child and I stumbled across Scentsy on the internet. I had never heard of Scentsy before and being the huge candle fanatic that I am, I clicked on it. I was blown away by the concept of no wick, no flame, and no soot. With a baby on the way, safety was extremely important to me and I knew instantly this was what I wanted to do.
I had been in Direct Sales before so I was no stranger to how this works, however, my previous attempts were not successful. After much thought and many questions with my sponsor, I joined without even trying the products first. Before I knew it, my business had taken off and it was growing faster than I ever imagined. I fastly promoted to one of the top 3 leadership levels in the company within a year of joining. The quality and simplicity of the products as well as the amazing camaraderie of other consultants literally blew me away! Scentsy has allowed me to be able to quit my full-time law office job and stay home with our children.
I have struggled with self-esteem issues since I was young. I always thought I was not good enough to have success and that I did not belong. My Scentsy journey has given me a purpose in life and helped me to overcome so many personal obstacles to see that I do have the potential within me to be a success at anything I put my mind to - so do YOU!!
Because of my Scentsy journey, I have been able to be there for my children for their school and extra-curricular activities. I have been able to travel (all expenses paid) to places I never even thought would be possible for me like Punta Cana, Las Vegas (2 times), Disneyland, and many, many more over my FOURTEEN years with Scentsy. Right now, we are working towards a trip to HAWAII. I have made so many lifelong friends and business partners from all over the world that I would not have ever met if it was not for Scentsy that I can not imagine not being a part of the Scentsy family.
I truly believe in our core values of Generosity, Authenticity, and Simplicity. We have an amazing home office team that believes in living life with an arrows out philosophy meaning you should always give more than you take. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing company that truly cares for its consultants and their success. I honestly can not imagine not being a part of the Scentsy family.
